13 things I want to do in 2009

1.) I want to go see 'Wicked' in Jacksonville, Fl. It starts April 23 and tickets go on sale this month. I really want to see this. I love the music from this.

2.) I want to loose at least 50lbs. I can do this. You know I had the lap band done and I have lost 40 lbs. since June. So I know that 50 lbs is alittle low but I want to have a target I know I can reach.

3.) I want to cook more dinners, and actually eat the left overs. I can cook but I just don't feel like it when I get home. So I am really going to do better this year. I want us to eat at home at least 6 nights a week. I can manage this.

4.) I really want to start going to bed at like 9pm and getting up at 5:30am. I have never been good at this. I really want to start doing my walking DVD again and 5:30am is the best time.

5.) I really want to spend more time caught up on my laundry then not. I need to come up with a system. I am good about washing and drying just not folding/hanging and putting away.

6.) I want to get the remodleing done and never do anything like it for the rest of the year. I mean we started with the bathroom over Christmas break of 2007, then the kitchen in spring of 2008, the hallway in fall of 2008, and the bathroom in winter of 2008. None of these projects are completely finished so you know it has put a huge strain on everyone in the house.

7.) I am going to work on being better to Chris. I'm going to stop complaining about how much he doesn't do and just do it myself. If I can't do it I am not even going to let it bother me. I mean don't get me wrong I love everything he does for me and the family. He really does do more than most husbands, and I have to lower the bar alittle so he can jump over it. I think that this will help our marriage.

8.) I am going to start really making my children listen. I know you laugh. I kind of laugh myself. But really I am going to work on when I say no I mean no.

9.) I would like to stop repeating myself. I mean I know my name is Echo but really I don't need to say everything twice.

10.) I am going to drink more water then ever before, and make sure I take my meds like I am supposed to every single day of my life.

11.) I am going to try not to be, or feel so stressed all the time. All negative energy is going to leave me this year. In order to achive this I will make sure my kitchen is clean everyday, and I sing more. Don't laugh it works for me.

12.) I am going to work on helping my children with the issues that they have going on: like Debbie moving to PA, boys, sibling garbage, Patricia living in Atlanta, Aunt Laura's death, school, ect.

13.) I am going to do more scrapbooking this year then ever before. I know it seems like my plate is full at this point, and I know the scrapbooks are not really for me, but I need the outlet. I need more time for myself, and really I think this is better then playing with the Wii or the nintendo DS. Hee Hee Although I do love the Wii, and the DS I just know I will play with them without setting a goal.

***I need a girlfriend thing, or something. I need nights with no husbands, and no kids just girlfriends. We can bowl, we can eat, we can go see wicked, we can _______. Anyone interested?***

Are you joking? I know you knew I would be up for that whenever, whatever. Unless you invite your husband...

The problem with a ladies night is that everyone wants to do it but no one wants to plan it. There I said it. Hate me, but it's still true.

Let me know what we're doing and I'm there.
