Karaoke: Echo (I Will Survive)

This past weekend Chris recorded me with our new Flip. I am very excited about this little video recorder. I didn't know he was recording it, and I thought it was only fair to Amanda, and Bethany.

Amanda Sings

So yall know we went to see Elton, and Billy in concert. Well, Amanda really wanted to hear 'I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues'. They never sang it. So, while we were waiting in the parking garage to leave I gave Amanda my ipod so she could listen to it. She was singing along when I had a great idea that I would record her singing it. I had some problems with my camera phone, but I was able to catch the end. There really isn't a picture, and she doesn't start singing for about 20 seconds, but you just have to listen. I love it. Thanks Amanda for being such a good sport about it. (unlike Bethany)

Music

Well on the way home from the concert Amanda and I sang old songs from our youth. It was really fun, and off key. However, I loved every stinkin' minute of it. When we had a long pause I asked if we could please do some more. Hee Hee. I love being with someone who doesn't care how bad, or off key my singing can be. Hee Hee. Don't get me wrong there are some songs I really think I can sing, but then there are songs I love and have no business singing. With Amanda I know that there is no judgement on my singing so it is fun to try and sing something like 'Lost in Your Eyes' by Debbie Gibbson. Hee Hee.

Anyway, she completly stumped me by asking me about a certain song, and singer. I could picture the video in my head but for the life of me I couldn't remember the song. That drives me crazy. So, I have found it and I am going to share it with you today. Don't hold back you know you loved this song, clap, dance, or sing as off key as you want.
